A Customised Fishing Experience
Fishing adventures with Jonathan are customised for each individual or group starting with a 30 minute fly casting session to get back in form (for the experienced) or get into the groove (for beginners).
The vast amount of water spots of all types in Connemara offer you the opportunity to choose a fishing adventure on a river, lake or the Atlantic Coast. The three hour action-packed experience will include tutorials on fly fishing, spin casting and baiting [often with Jonathan’s hand crafted flies].
All your fishing equipment is provided. The permit for lake and coastal fishing is included. If salmon fishing on the Owenglin River is your desire, the Irish government requires that you purchase a license directly from them online at https://store.fishinginireland.info/
We recommend that you bring a variety of all-weather clothing and boots. Connemara often has four seasons in an hour!

Introduction to Fly Fishing
- 30 minute fly casting lesson.
- 3 hours practical on the lake.
- Prices €75 pp including all fishing equipment.
- Discount on groups of 3 or more.
Coastal, River or Lake Fishing Lesson
- You will learn how to fly fish, spin cast, or bait fish in beautiful surroundings.
- Individual lesson: €75 pp.
- Group discount 3 or more: €60 pp .
- Children under 16: €30 pp. Children must be accompanied by adult at all times.
Salmon Fishing On A River
- Salmon fly fishing on the beautiful Owenglin River: €120 pp.
- A license is required for salmon fishing which can be purchased online at https://store.fishinginireland.info/
